A STATISTICAL COMPARISON OF CULTURED AND NONCULTURED ROOT CANAL CASES

Two groups of root canal cases were followed up by periodic examination after treatment. In one group the culturing criterion was used and in the other it was not. Statistical analysis reveals that significantly better results were obtained when culturing was used.
