II. SODIUM, POTASSIUM AND CALCIUM IN SALIVAS SECRETED AT WIDELY VARYING RATES

In an analysis of three groups of six salivas each, secreted at widely varying rates, sodium increased rapidly and calcium slightly with rate of secretion. Potassium, on the other hand, tended to decline slightly with increase in rate of secretion.
